Specifications and Potential Dangers

 

Dear Guests!

The motion seats of the 4DX system are programmed to move according to a predetermined sequence synchronized with the movie scenes. As a result, the motion seats can cause the following problems:

                • Your personal effects (e.g. popcorn, beverages etc.) may be dropped or spilt;

                • Whilst already being seated, your clothing or parts of your body may become caught between the seats;

 

In addition, access to the 4DX movie theaters and screenings is not recommended for the following groups of guests:

                • Pregnant women;

                • People under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any kind of intoxicating substances;

                • Children under 4 years of age;

                • Guests under 100 (one hundred) centimeters;

                • Children from 4 (four) to 7 (seven) years of age may attend screenings only if they are accompanied by an authorized guardian;

                • Owing to the weight restrictions of seats, persons weighing over 120 (one hundred twenty) kilograms should not be granted access to the 4DX screenings;

                • In case of sensitive guests:

                   - Feeling sick

                   - Headache and/or muscle pain during screening

                   - In exceptional cases - epileptic symptoms

 

Matters of Special Concern:

 

Atmospheric effects:

The following special effects are used during the screening of 4DX movies: wind; odor; liquid; movement; smoke; water bubbles; sound effects, etc.

In this relation, we are kindly asking you to have in mind the following:

                •  Regarding the wind equipment – obstructions to its proper functioning may occur as a result of objects (personal effects of the guests in the movie theatre, for example) that have come into contact with this equipment;

                • Regarding the water bubbles equipment - contact with your clothes, personal effects and/or leather, silk products may cause injury, damage or stains;

                •    Water used can cause the following: dampen your clothes; spoil makeup and slight odors. In addition to that, water can fall onto your 3D glasses. Nevertheless, however, water used during the special effects should not cause any significant physical injuries.

Guests of the cinema for whom it is prohibited to visit 4DX screenings: 

In order to maintain high safety standards and to prevent accidents with the guests of the 4DX screenings, people who have the following health conditions should not be granted access to the screenings:

                • Epilepsy

                • High blood pressure

                • Heart conditions

                • Back conditions

                • Any type of serious medical condition

 

Motion seats:

                •  Please, do not leave your clothes on the equipment or on the seats in front/next to you, so that all guests in the movie theater can enjoy the 4DX experience to the max;

                •   During screening, the possibility of serious injury occurring from the motion chair movements is ever present;

                •  Please, prevent foreign objects, including parts of your body at all times from contact with fan devices used to produce wind effects and any other device used in 4D screenings in order to prevent injury and malfunctioning of equipment;

                •  Please pay special attention to the proper and secure storage of your personal effects (including food and beverages);

                •  If you drop or spill any item during screening, please do not exit your seat to recover and/or collect such items;

                •  Please, make sure that your personal articles and items (especially coffee, tea or any other hot beverages) are adequately secured;

               

Miscellaneous:

Wind effects may cause loose items such as scarves, hats etc. to be blown away from you, which may lead to malfunctioning of equipment. Consequently, special attention must be paid to such items prone to wind effects. In case such items are separated from you due to wind effects, please, do not try to recover them during the screening, but after it has finished.
